Night school offers options for older youth, ages 18 – 21, with personalized and flexible education plans. It provides an option for youth who no longer feel they can make it through high school or have dropped out. Some are so far behind that they can’t imagine acquiring a diploma. Night school is an avenue for youth to secure their high school diploma. A Social Worker is assigned to each student to oversee their social and emotional well-being. While attending Tech, each student is supported through their transition into adulthood. Students obtaining their high school diploma and working require a specific framework of support. Night school students are required to have a job or complete 12 community service hours a week. Students receive highs school credit for working and community service.
